Drift monitoring
Drift monitoring helps you notice changes in selected observations over time. A monitor compares a signal with a baseline, the reference observations used for that comparison.
For example, a change in flag rate may be a reason to inspect recent results. The reading does not identify the cause or establish that the application is safe or unsafe.
Read the result in context
Section titled “Read the result in context”| What you see | How to interpret it |
|---|---|
| A reported shift | Investigate the period and supporting evidence. |
| No reported shift with current observations | No shift was reported for those observations; coverage and freshness still matter. |
| A baseline still forming | There is not enough reference evidence for the intended comparison. |
| Missing, stale or unavailable observations | There is no current basis for an all-clear conclusion. |
Check the observation time, displayed period and available sample information. A refreshed screen does not make old observations current.
Investigate a change
Section titled “Investigate a change”Compare the reading with relevant control results and changes to the application, provider or Charter. Follow available evidence links and verify receipts when relying on signed records.
Available monitors and their actions are defined by your deployment’s Charter. A monitoring notification is not itself a block on model traffic or proof of completed human review.
